Mommies, I need your help

What's the difference between a "T" and a regular size? (i.e. 5T vs 5)
I can't seem to find a definitive answer and I really would like to know. Tyson is a 4T/5T right now therefore he's in between the baby/toddler clothes and boy clothes. He can wear a 5, but what's the difference?

In my experience with Allison, the non-T stuff is a little more narrow (most kids have lost their toddler bellies by the time they are in it). For shorts, the non-T stuff tends to be more "real" - no snaps in the crotch, no fake buttons, no fake zippers, etc. Allison is wearing 5 and 5T tops and 4T bottoms right now. Pain in the rear! (But at least that means she gets more selection!)

"T" stands for toddler. Typically, the clothes that end in "T" run a bit smaller because they are geared at toddlers or small children. For instance, at the GAP, they have 4T's and 4's. If you buy the 4T, it will be smaller in all areas than the 4. Hope it helps!
